Opportunity through crisis

 Manuela stood on the dusty street of her Venezuelan neighborhood, the noise of nearby protests mixing with the sharp pangs of her heart. Within a week, she received a call back. Though the starting salary was modest, the opportunity was everything she had hoped for. Manuela’s blend of patience and readiness — her careful preparation and the boldness to step forward when it counted — became the foundation of her new life in Mexico.


As the months went by, she didn’t just work; she thrived. She attended free technical courses in digital tools and logistics management after hours, becoming indispensable to her team. What began as a humble secretarial role evolved into a management position.


Through her journey, Manuela proved that patience to gain wisdom and the courage to act swiftly could transform not just a career but an entire life. Her story became an example to others in her hometown, proving that crisis could become opportunity, if met with the right balance of preparation and action.
